Order of the Phoenix, Chapter Nineteen

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend – holiday weekend for some. I didn’t get much done around here, sadly, as I was spending the time with family, but I’m back today and ready to go. And just like that, we’re halfway through Phoenix!

It’s sort of funny that this is the halfway point of the book, actually. Phoenix is without a doubt the lowest point of Harry’s career at Hogwarts, where he struggles the most and comes closest to an all-out breakdown. And I don’t think it’d be hard to argue that this chapter is the lowest of the low – about the worst Harry feels this entire year. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t really like to be him right now. Especially as he doesn’t know (as we do) that the tunnel indeed has a light at the end.
