Ani Bester

Ani Bester has been drawing fan art for a long time (the oldest file in my library is one of her drawings), and she’s a fantastic member of the fan community. She’s also heading up an ambitious art project that I’m looking forward to posting about once it’s finished, and I’m very pleased to have been able to collaborate with her a bit on our projects. As for her art, I love her style – it’s very unique and very “free,” and just fun to look at. She captures the moods of scenes perfectly, and though a lot of what she draws isn’t canon (so can’t be included here), I’m very happy to include the pictures that do fit the books.

  2. creepily good. there is a real sense of menace in the scary-scene pictures. i love how you draw Sirius both as a youth and adult. and Marcus Flint is just how I pictured him while reading.
