Catching-Smoke is a prolific fan artist who is familiar to many people who prowl the fan art on deviantArt… yet an artist who I somehow managed to miss until fairly recently. Having come across her work, though – with her tons of canon scenes – I’m very glad to have found her. She has a great way with capturing moments from the books – and her work rings especially true for me when I focus on the characters’ eyes, which are just full of personality and really show what’s going on inside the characters’ heads. I love her drawings and I’m pleased to be featuring them here.
