Heather Campbell
Heather Campbell – known throughout fandom as Makani – is one of the giants of the fanart world, and her work is pure joy. She generally takes a very lighthearted approach to the books – several times already I’ve come across one of her pieces that I wanted to use but sadly excluded it when it didn’t fit the tone of the page I was making. However, when she wants to draw a dramatic scene, look out. Her Project HBP was one of the inspirations for this site, and lots of her work can be seen over at The Leaky Cauldron, where she’s staff artist. I’m honored to be able to include her here.

How is it that you can read into my mind’s eye? Your depiction of, well, everyone is like you scraped thoughts and images out of my brain while I slept. I particularly love your idea of the Death Eaters’ masks. That they would always have been based off of snakes, and only post facto conform to Voldemort’s new visage, well, it’s simply brilliant.
