Heather Campbell
Heather Campbell – known throughout fandom as Makani – is one of the giants of the fanart world, and her work is pure joy. She generally takes a very lighthearted approach to the books – several times already I’ve come across one of her pieces that I wanted to use but sadly excluded it when it didn’t fit the tone of the page I was making. However, when she wants to draw a dramatic scene, look out. Her Project HBP was one of the inspirations for this site, and lots of her work can be seen over at The Leaky Cauldron, where she’s staff artist. I’m honored to be able to include her here.

Her work is brilliant. So much detail everywhere…the way she chooses her colors and everything is so creative. Everyone she draws has their own personalities etched on their faces.
Outstanding! I just wish she updated her site…
