When I began compiling a page for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, I quickly realized I didn’t have nearly enough artwork to give the page life, and started my first comprehensive art search in years. Juan was one of the first artists I came across, and thank goodness I did. His characters are so beautiful and so full of life, and he’s practically illustrated the entire book himself – so of course my new biggest challenge was not finding more artwork, but somehow choosing which drawings of his to use! I’m very grateful for his consent to include his drawings, and I think they make what could have been a quite boring page incredibly beautiful.
