NicoPony
NicoPony does an incredible job capturing the way I see Harry’s world when he’s younger – she’s drawn a scene from each of the first twenty-five or so chapters of the books, and I can’t get enough of them. I’m particularly intrigued by her shading, and the way she makes black and white pictures ‘pop’ – the steam on Platform 9 3/4, the invisibility cloak, and so on. She’s a great addition to the site.

I really love this artist’s work, especially the “Omnioculars at the World Cup” picture. Her shading is really wonderful.

NicoPony’s HP art is some of my favorite. I’m super picky about fan art…I hate it if it looks like it’s been copied out of the movies, if it’s anime-ish, if the characters have been drawn to look sexaaay, et cetera. But NicoPony is incredibly talented AND original; she draws everything from her own unique interpretation of the book with awesome amounts of detail.
