Harry Potter Off Camera
Just as I created my essay section to allow myself freedom to discuss more than I can in my chapter-by-chapter guides, I’ve come to realize I needed a similar section for artwork that wasn’t quite going to fit in with the books. So, this is that place.
There are many wonderful drawings out there that, while they may not depict actual moments in the books, still depict moments based on the books. I think of these moments as “off camera” because in my mind, they’re the things that happen to Harry and his fellow characters before the story of the first book begins, after the seventh book ends, and in all the many days and nights that fall between the stories the books tell us. From the mundane nights doing homework in the Gryffindor common room to the excitement of Harry and Ginny’s wedding, there are many stories between the lines, and those are the ones that these drawings tell.
And don’t worry – all artwork and links posted on the HPC will always be family-friendly. Enjoy!

Dare we hope for an Off Camera: After the Books section? I’d love to see Mr and Mrs Draco Malfoy and little Scorpius!

Deborah Hubbard, don’t worry – it will come. You’ll just have to be patient, as I’m planning on posting these chronologically with the chapter pages, so it will be a while. It’s actually one of the pages I’m most looking forward to creating. :)
