Heather Campbell’s drawing of Hermione made me laugh. “Random Useless Knowledge” lol. I agree I would have LOVED to hear about the trio from the teacher’s pov. I’m sure it would’ve been hilarious.

John, sorry for not making myself clear. I didn’t mean that the picture doesn’t fit there, but was referring to the wording underneath it. You never actually state WHAT it is she has gotten.

Yeah, Kim, it wasn’t positioned elsewhere but I didn’t know where to position it, since this page covers two years, that picture falls right in the middle of them, and there’s nothing else to reference the fact that the first year is over. I’ll keep thinking about what I can do with that….

One thing for this page: Your comment underneath the Ginny picture (“And of course, the summer after Harry’s first year, another important person would have gotten hers, too – and probably treasured it quite as much.”) makes it seem like this picture was at first positioned elsewhere. I take it you’re talking about the Hogwarts letter?

Lilly, it’s because the quote is referring to something that happened during the first two books. As I mentioned above to kim, there aren’t perfect quotes for all of these, so I had to stretch a bit. :)

I have a question about Sanna Lorenzen’s picture. Why do you have a quote from PoA if this is only for the first two books?

kim, I know the quote is off – if it worked perfectly I would have used that picture to go with that spot in the text. :) One of the reasons this page took so much work to put up was finding quotes that worked, because the whole point of it is that the pictures don’t have any perfect matches, if that makes sense.
